Attorney Joann Shields specializes in business incorporation and class actions as well as other complex business litigation, including in the areas of consumer protection, contract, tort, partnership, employment, and real property disputes. She began her career by clerking for United States Federal Judge David Sam. Ms. Shields has worked as in-house and outside counsel for several corporate clients. She has served as President of the Corporate Law Section of the Utah State Bar and currently serves on the Mandatory Continuing Legal Education Committee. Ms. Shields has also been an officer of the Alden J. Anderson American Inn of Court. She enjoys the fine arts, travel, and teaching.
