it is always preferable, in any litigation, to settle without going to court. Hundreds of cases never get on the court dockets because the involved parties agree on settlement conditions and behave in a reasonable and responsible manner. This is a best case scenario. Often times when you first meet with a lawyer they will send a letter, often called a demand letter, to the opposing party or attorney to try to resolve the matter before going to court. This is not always the case and does not always happen but it is a regular occurrence in the state of Utah.

For his or her time in court can be very costly. In addition, many attorneys are not experienced in the courtroom setting. This is called litigation. You need to make sure you have a trial attorney or litigation lawyer if you are going to court. some attorneys just work behind the scenes and never actually go to court. You don’t want someone who’s unfamiliar with Common Court protocol going to court for you. Even though you are hiring an attorney who works for a law firm they are sworn officers of the Court. First and foremost a must have passed the bar exam in the state of Utah and then they are sworn into a pulled the duties and officer of the Court. They do not freelance and make things up. They must answer to the court for their every move.

There are plenty of jokes out there about lawyers in plenty of means they’re called. But the fact is that they must pass a background check and a moral character valuation before they can even pass the bar. Once they have done so, they are able to be tested. Not only passing a two-day bar exam in the state of Utah there’s also a code of ethics that the attorneys must follow the rules of professional conduct. The lawyers at Ascent law follow those rules.
